The Origin
It Began With a Vision of Total Perfection
In the summer of 2009, our founder Reginald Ashby had a vision. Not a metaphorical vision — an actual vision, delivered by a wizard who appeared in his kitchen and informed him that vacation rentals could be perfect. Not nearly perfect. Not mostly perfect. Perfect.
Reginald poured himself a drink, considered the wizard's proposal, and agreed. He has not received a single complaint since. Not one. He checks every morning. The inbox is always empty. He finds this deeply satisfying.
The Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple: everything works, all the time, forever. The hot tubs have never malfunctioned. The appliances are happy. The weather cooperates. The insects respect our boundaries. The bears arrive on schedule.
We do not have a complaints department because we have never needed one. We considered creating one for appearances but decided it would be misleading. Instead we have a Department of Continued Excellence, which meets weekly to confirm that everything is still perfect. It always is.

Constance coordinates all weather at our three properties. Edmund Forsythe
Edmund manages all wildlife appearances, unicorn availability, and the checkout rainbow programme. The bears arrive on time because Edmund has cultivated a genuine professional relationship with them over fifteen years. The unicorns are on a first-name basis with most of our repeat guests.
